Gateway Announces Artist Run Newsstand

news_green-125x125Gateway has announced an interesting twist to a Newsstand Kiosk at the Chester TTC station.  The currently vacant retail kiosk will be revitalized by a number of local artists into a space that functions as a both a newsstand and an art gallery. Arlene Sheppard has announced a creative collaboration with a group of artists who are crowd-souring funds to open the newsstand soon, which will play host to art shows and events.  It is scheduled to open on May 1st. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/artistsnewsstand/extra-extra-an-artists-newsstand-is-coming-to-toro #{project_title}'s video poster
