Finally, a list of best covers from 2011 that are based on sales, not on “art with logo.” Well, this one actually is “art with logo.”
Magnet, the U.S.-based data clearing house, just released its picks for the best U.S. covers of 2011, along with the data to back up their choices.
Over the next few days I’ll share with you each of their choices…which are hard to argue with when you see the results. And hey, they also happen to be viusal treats as well.
For example, according to Magnet: ” TIME (10090) – Issue 2011-43 – Steve Jobs cover was one of the top selling titles covering the death of Steve Jobs and sold 165,000 copies, resulting in an index of 137.2% greater than the previous 12 issue average.”
Now that is newsworthy!
