The Jun/Jul 2011 issue of Photo Life will be hitting newsstands on May 30th. This stunning black and white cover commits to the “less is more” approach to cover design.

Rule #11:  Color over black & white

For many magazines, black and white covers don’t work as well as color photographs.  That’s not the case for Photo Life, who has enjoyed great success historically with classic black and white cover treatments.

Four additional hooks are elegantly handled to keep the focus and commitment on a clean and uncluttered cover that is committed to clairity.
